We have great pleasure in publishing our report and accounts for the year 2022.
You can find it here: Annual Report & Accounts 2022.
The document also contains information about our Annual Parochial Church Meeting, which takes place on Sunday 23rd April, immediately after the 11am Parish Eucharist. We offer you a warm invitation to join us, and at the Bring-and-Share Lunch that will follow it. The Annual Meeting usually lasts about 30 minutes.
Canon Simon Butler, Vicar of St Mary’s, said on publishing the Report, “2022 was a year of both challenges and opportunities. We continued to see ongoing recovery and return to normal after the Pandemic, with numbers slowly growing again and the regular excitement of seeing and getting to know new people joining the Church. At the same time, a combination of factors, which the Report, outlines, meant that 2022 was a financially-challenging year, which is represented in our Accounts. Nevertheless, we are grateful to God for all that we are able to do as a Church, and for the gifts of people and resources we have to do them. We continue to be inspired by God to do the work of the Gospel he has called us to.”
