29th October at 11am – A Service of Thanksgiving for the 500th Anniversary of the Beginning of the Reformation

The Reformation was a watershed in the religious, cultural and political life of the world, especially in Europe.

St Mary’s will be marking this moment of thanksgiving and prayer with a special service on Sunday 29th October at 11am.

During the service we shall sing great Lutheran hymns, the choir will sing the setting of the Eucharist by John Merbecke (the first mass setting in English) and we will reflect together on the meaning of Reformation and pray for the unity of the whole church, Protestant, Anglican and Roman Catholic.

Please invite your friends to join us for this special service.
