  1. There is no Evening Service today.

The Battersea Deanery Drama Group presents Robinson Crusoe on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th and Saturday 30th January at 7 pm and also at 2pm on Saturday 30th at Christ Church & St Stephen, Battersea.   1. Mardi Gras Party: Ruth and Paul Holleley are looking for talented – or at least willing! – performers for St Mary’s Community Mardi Gras variety concert in  church on February 6th at 7pm. Please contact us on 07969 831 947.


  1. Everyone Campaign: Please return your pledge card as soon as possible, Even if you are unable to give to the church at this time or do not wish to alter the amount you are giving. This will save an embarrassing reminder!


  1. The Thursday Bible Exploration Group begins again on 7th January in the Upper Vestry at 1.30pm. New members are warmly welcomed (very nice coffee/tea and biscuits!). Leslie: 07788 778569.


  1. The Revd Philip Krinks – If you would like to contribute to a leaving gift for

           Philip, please give your donation by the end of this week to the   Churchwardens or in an envelope c/o the Parish Office. Philip is to continue in ministry at Christ Church, Clapham.


  1. Simon’s return to parish ministry: Please be aware that Simon is having a gradual return to work after his period of absence. His working week will be Sunday to Thursday lunchtime.


  1. Authorised Listeners: If you have been affected in any way by the recent events at St Mary’s, the Diocese has a team of authorised listeners, who are  able to listen to you on a confidential basis. More details are on a notice at the back of church. The Churchwardens and Simon are also available to talk and listen if you would like to do that.


  1. Winter Recital Series: These increasingly popular free Sunday afternoon concerts run from next Sunday until 7th February. Full details soon; offers of help with refreshments to Tyrone Whiting please.


  1. Lent: Ash Wednesday is 10th February (services at 7.30am and 8pm); Lent Study Groups will focus on Bible Study Resources for Lent produced by the Scottish Bible Society. Lent Talks are in the planning stage. Details soon!
