THIS WEEK’S NOTICES
This Afternoon – Hallowmass Party for Children has been cancelled.
Flowers this Sunday have been donated by Libby Bradshaw and Charlotte Kirwan in memory of the Children’s Society and the late Winifred Stone, OBE.
Children’s Society Christmas cards and new boxes will be launched today at the end of the morning service with a tribute to the late Winfred Stone, first and only female chief executive of the Children’s Society in the 1980s. Further details from Libby Bradshaw 07956 655 037 or [email protected]
Consultation on Pews & Chairs: The consultation closes today.
Deanery Confirmation Service: 5th November at 4pm. We are hosting a modest-sized confirmation service for some of Battersea’s Churches next week. If you can help with welcoming or serving refreshments after the service, please let Simon know as soon as possible.
Remembrance Sunday 12th November Don’t forget the morning service is at 10:45am
Annual Memorial Service: If you would like us to remember a dearly-departed loved one who has died in the past year, please put their name on the Memorial List which is found on the prayer table by the pulpit. The Annual Memorial Service will be Choral Evensong on Sunday 12th November at 6.pm
Everyone 2018 is our annual renewal of financial stewardship – every autumn we ask everyone at St Mary’s to review their giving to the church for the coming year. Pledge Sunday will be 19th November this year. Please take your envelope at the back.
Volunteers needed for Advent Fair – We are now looking for people to help with our Advent Fair which will take place on Sunday 3rd December between 2 and 5:30 pm. Local stallholders have been invited but we want to have a few St Mary’s stalls as well. The flower group are running the home made produce and cake stall but we need volunteers to help sell and make refreshments, help to run and organise the Gift stall and to help with children’s activities too. Please sign up at the back of church if you can help. Last year’s event was really fun and special. Or contact Debbie Apostolides at [email protected]
Card Reader Trial: If you would like to give by card, you can do so immediately after the service near the lift at the back of church
