Consultation on Pews & Chairs: If you would like to take part in this consultation, please have a look at the display at the side of the church and return your feedback form by the end of October.


Card Reader Trial: If you would like to give by card, you can do so immediately after the service near the lift at the back of church


Everyone 2018 is our annual renewal of financial stewardship – every autumn we ask everyone at St Mary’s to review their giving to the church for the coming year.

Pledge Sunday will be 19th November this year. Please take your envelope at the back.


Deanery Confirmation Service: 5th November at 4pm. We are hosting a modest-sized confirmation service for some of Battersea’s Churches in a couple of weeks’ time. If you can help with welcoming or serving refreshments after the service, please let Simon know as soon as possible.


Remembrance Sunday 12th November Don’t forget the morning service is at 1045am


Annual Memorial Service: If you would like us to remember a dearly-departed loved one who has died in the past year, please put their name on the Memorial List which is found on the prayer table by the pulpit. The Annual Memorial Service will be Choral Evensong on Sunday 12th November at


Children’s Society Christmas cards and new boxes will be launched on Sunday 29th October at the end of the morning service with a tribute to the late Winfred Stone, first and only female chief executive of the Children’s Society in the 1980s. Hallowmas Party for Children: There will be a special All Saints’ Tide/Hallowe’en party for children on Sunday 29th October between 4pm and 6pm in church. Please come dressed as super heroes and be ready to have some fun! Details: Cal Alphonse ([email protected]). Please see the poster at the back.



Volunteers needed for Advent Fair – We are now looking for people to help with our Advent Fair which will take place on Sunday 3rd December between 2 and 5:30 pm. Local stallholders have been invited but we want to have a few St Mary’s stalls as well. The flower group are running the home made produce and cake stall but we need volunteers to help sell and make refreshments, help to run and organise the Gift stall and to help with children’s activities too.
