Don’t Forget: The clocks go back next Sunday morning!

Clive Moir: we are sorry to report the death of Clive Moir after a long illness but a sudden decline. His Memorial Service will be on Thursday 1st November at 2.30pm. May he rest in peace and rise in glory

Admission of Children to Holy Communion: Six weeks of classes begin on Wednesday 7thNovember in the after-school slot. Please contact Simon if your child would like to be admitted to communion. Admission Service: 16thDecember at 11.

Children’s Society:Christmas cards are on display at the back of the church ready for ordering. Please support vulnerable children and buy your cards here!

 Today’s Flowers have been donated by Carol and Geoff Brindle in celebration of their Wedding Anniversary.

Lighting Project: The PCC is about to consider final plans for a project to improve and modernise the lighting in the church. The full concept and plans are available in folders at the side of the church and as a Powerpoint document on the parish website. In due course a Faculty consultation will be undertaken, along with the proposals to redecorate the church and install a servery area in the south-west corner. However, PCC members would welcome any comments about the lighting proposals in advance of their meeting on Tuesday.

Annual Memorial Service for the Recently-Bereaved: This special, simple service is an occasion to remember dearly-departed loved ones who have died in the past year. Everyone is welcome to come to this service on Sunday 4thNovember at 3pm, during which the names of those who have died will be read out. If you have a name you would like added to the list, please do so at the back of church by 28thOctober.

Armistice Centenary Remembrance Sunday: The Borough Service of Remembrance, in the presence of the Mayor of Wandsworth, will take place at 10.45am on Sunday 11thNovember, the centenary to the day of the Armistice. There will also be a special Centenary Choral Evensong at 6pm. Please invite your friends and family.

Second Community Organising Meeting: The next meeting of Aaron’s new group looking at community organising in Battersea will be in the Crypt on Tuesday 30thOctober at 7pm. Everyone is very welcome – especially if you are curious or keen to see us reaching out into our community.
