FaithWorks 18: Hymns & Pimm’s on Sunday 30thSeptember at 11am:
Please take an invitation card and invite your friends to come sing popular hymns followed by a glass of Pimm’s in this special service. This is a special fundraiser for two charities – the ESOL Programme (English for Speakers of Other Language) at the Katherine Low Settlement, and Over the Wall, a Charity that provides life-changing activity camps for children, teenagers and families living with serious health challenges.
The service will include popular hymns chosen by members of St Mary’s. If you have a favourite hymn that has helped you on your faith journey or at a particular moment in your life – and would be willing to be interviewed briefly in the service by Aaron or Simon or say a few words about the reason for your choice– please contact Simon or Morven MacDonald ([email protected]) in the coming weeks as they put the service together. Please also contact Morven to offer help in serving drinks and nibbles after the service.
