Welcomers: Carol Bailey has now begun to draft a new-look rota for welcomers on Sunday mornings and we realise that we urgently need some new volunteers to take part in welcoming people to church. This is a very important ministry and we are keen to find some people able to offer a friendly greeting and help to first time worhsippers or visitors. Please speak to Carol ([email protected]), Simon or Colin to find out more. New & Old Welcomers Please Note: there will be a very important Welcomers’ Evening Meeting on Tuesday 31st January in Church, from 7.30pm to 9.pm. Please come!

The Church Council meets on Saturday. Three items are on the agenda: the idea of introducing a ministry of healing and wholeness into services; an initial conversation about holding a Parish Mission with Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in 2018; and an exploratory conversation about replacing the pews in church with chairs (the PCC wanted to consider this last matter as part of the Mission Action Plan).
