Battersea Deanery Synod Open Meeting on Refugees: The next Synod is an Open Meeting. The speaker will be Samantha Palmer, a lawyer working with Safe Passage UK, who has been helping try to reunite children from the Jungle Camp in Calais with their families. Thursday 23rd February, 7.30pm – 9pm. Venue St. Luke’s Church.

Lent Groups: There are three options this year
Staying Close: A Lent Course Exploring Intimacy with God, which will run on Sunday mornings, Tuesday evenings, Wednesday afternoons and Wednesday evenings;
The “York Course” Receiving Christ, which will run on Thursday lunchtimes;
an ecumenical film and discussion group, based on the film The Way, which will run on four Thursday evenings at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

Advance Notice: St Mary’s Choir and Soloists will be performing Fauré’s Requiem and other music in a special concert on Palm Sunday 6th April at 6.00pm. Godly Play: Our Junior Church Leaders had a wonderful introductory evening to something called Godly Play, which they are exploring introducing as a new way of doing Junior Church. Watch out for more information soon or look at www.godlyplay.uk.
