Mozart’s Requiem

Palm Sunday Evening: A Concert for Holy Week

Palm Sunday Evening: A Concert for Holy Week

6.30pm Sunday 20th March

St Mary’s Choir and a guest orchestra will be performing Mozart’s great Requiem in
concert at 6.30pm on Palm Sunday evening.

The soloists will be taken mainly from among our Choral Scholars and our Director of Music, Tyrone Whiting, will be conducting.
This promises to be a special evening.

Conductors: Tyrone Whiting & Katy Silverman

  • Soprano: Luisa Boselli
  • Alto: Ralph Williams
  • Tenor: James Hutchings
  • Bass: André Andrade

Chorus: The Choir of St Mary’s

Orchestra: The St Mary’s Players

We have decided that it should be a concert performance rather than a service so that we can invite as many people as would like to come. Nevertheless, there will be an invitation to respond to the message of life after death that the Requiem so movingly proclaims.

Free with refreshments available. Retiring collection. Suggested donation £10 but all are welcome.
