We are delighted to announce that our interim Church Manager, Felicity Brindle, has been appointed to the permanent post. Felicity has a background in HR, having worked for companies such as Blackrock and McKinsey. Felicity took the decision a while ago to step away from the corporate world and is in the process of training to be a career coach, a role she hopes to develop alongside working for St Mary’s in the Parish Office.

The Church Manager will take on an even more critical role in the forthcoming vacancy, making us exceptionally fortunate to have someone with such high-level skills and management experience running the Parish Office and overseeing much of the day-to-day operations of St Mary’s. She is also most likely the first point of contact many people will have with the church, so her friendly, professional approach will stand the church in good stead.

Felicity’s appointment is subject to the usual formalities, and she will be working 4 days a week. The usual pattern will be that she will work from home on a Monday (being contactable on the office phone and by the office email), and will work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. These will also be the three days that the church will be open for private prayer or visits.

We hope you will join us in congratulating Felicity on her appointment. Do pop your heard round the door and say hello.
