This year at St Mary’s we will be holding our first ever Advent Fair on the first Advent Sunday – Sunday 27th November.

The exact time has yet to be decided upon but it is likely to be between 2 and 5 pm. It will take place in the crypt on the same day as the very popular Advent Carol Service. Everyone is very welcome.

It will be an afternoon of traditional seasonal fun with stalls selling home produce, mincemeat, pickles and chutneys, Christmas cakes, Stollen and mince pies, as well as mulled wine and other tasty seasonal delights. There will be lots of craft opportunities for children to make simple Christmas stockings, advent calendars and decorations plus we plan to invite a few carefully selected stall holders to sell their wares. Charity Christmas cards will be on sale and there will be a grotto with a very special visitor…

Please put the date in your diary and speak to the Congregational Life Working Group if you would like to get involved. More details soon…
