We Are on a Crossroad in Our Life – Who Knows Where to Turn?

Do you sometimes find in your life that you search for sunshine but find rain? Do you search for riches, but find that you have lost your business somehow and are in poverty? Have you applied for a job but find that it is given to someone else? Do you work hard, but find you are in debt. Do you ask, ‘Why has that happened? Where have I gone wrong?’ You have not gone wrong, but you are at a crossroads of testing.
Some are at the crossroads with addiction. This can pull you down. Many are in the secret club of addiction. We can be addicted to many things – alcohol, drugs, nicotine, possessions, and pleasure among others. It may be that you have thought about something to which you feel addicted. If so, you want to know where to find solace. It is time to confess and find help.
Do not be ashamed to talk about what is troubling you. Talk to a person of God. If that is too difficult for you, then kneel down and talk to Jesus. He’ll keep your secret and you’re on your way to salvation.
God is the answer to all of our questions. Read the Bible and believe it. All your solutions lie in its teachings. Ignoring what the Bible says is the reason for all the problems we are having. God will reveal a lot to you. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Life with addiction is no life, and can be terrible for the person experiencing the addiction. I don’t need to expatiate as we all know to what we are addicted. The best thing I can do for you is to leave you with Jesus. I know you can be a new person when your life is given over to Jesus.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ always believe that things will get better in time. Don’t lose hope in our Lord Jesus. We all go through temptations, but take heart and remember what is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 – ‘No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.’

Pray always because God is concerned about everything about you – your health, your finances, your plans and your faith. Don’t relent but trust in God.
