Although the parish of St Mary's Battersea dates back to the ninth century, the current church building is much newer. Built in 1777, it will be celebrating its 250th birthday in 2027. We want to make sure the building and all its fabric is in good shape for the next 250 years of life here in Battersea.
All together we expect these works will cost £250,000: one thousand pounds for every year the current church building has stood.
No matter what you can give, we need the support. Every penny counts.

I want to give a larger one-off donation.
If you would like to give a larger amount, particularly if you would like to give it in support of one strand of the works, or in memory of someone, we suggest you get in touch with us to discuss.
I am part of a grant making group or other philanthropic organisation and would like to sponsor these works in a larger way.
