Every year, like any other charity, St Mary’s produces an Annual Report, giving an account of the activities of the church in the past year and providing financial information about the health of the church.

St Mary’s Annual Report is published today and can be found by following the link below. It provides an overview of the work of the church during 2021 as well as the paperwork for the Annual Vestry and Parochial Church Meetings, which will take place during and after the 11am service on Sunday 24th April 2022. At those meetings, the Annual Report will be scrutinised, and elections will be held for Church Warden, members of the Parochial Church Council and Battersea Deanery Synod. The Annual Meeting also provides an opportunity for members of St Mary’s to raise any questions with the Vicar and other officers of the Church Council.

Canon Simon Butler, Vicar of St Mary’s, writes in his introduction, “In last year’s report I reflected on the need to go at a gentle and prayerful pace and to give time to recover and adjust. You will find more of that reported on in this account of the past year at St Mary’s. We continue to learn what we are capable of as a church, under God, and how our church can be a place and community of love and acceptance.”
