During the pandemic, St Mary’s has been at the heart of Coronavirus Angels, our response to local need. A number of our members – including David Britten, Annabel Spooner and our two clergy – have played coordinating roles.

But in the background has been the Katherine Low Settlement, our partner charity in Battersea High Street. They have been amazing at supporting the Angels, both practically and in terms of the advice that comes from long experience serving the vulnerable.

The Angels Coordinators have decided to show our thanks by joining the KLS Spring Fundraiser, in which supporters aim to walk 1,000,000 steps in a week. You can find out more here.

From 12th to 19th March the Coronavirus Angels Coordinators aim to walk 10,000 steps each day and warmly invite you to sponsor their efforts.

Please consider sponsoring us and thereby supporting the fantastic work of KLS by sponsoring us at:

We warmly invite any of our wonderful Coronavirus Angels volunteers to join with us in the goal to reach 1 million steps. If you can help, please contact David Britten at [email protected]

Let’s say Thank You to KLS.
