THIS WEEK’S NOTICES
- Tonight at 6.30pm: The Parish Carol Service. This very popular service will be a great opportunity to celebrate Christmas at St Mary’s, especially for those who are going away in the coming days.
- The West London Churches Homeless Concern (WLCHC) are looking for donations for their night shelters. They especially need male clothing, toiletries, socks, new underwear, jeans, tee shirts and sleeping bags, also towels and blankets. Please bring any donations to church on Sundays or between 9 and 12.30 on weekdays. Thank you Libby and Carol Bailey
- Please note the following alterations to services after Christmas:
Sunday 27th December there will only be one service all day, at 11am.
Sunday 3rd January, there will be no 6.30pm service.
All Weekday services recommence week commencing Monday 4th January.
- Battersea Deanery pantomime which this year is Robinson Crusoe; Rehearsals have now started. It will be staged at Christchurch Battersea in January. We are still looking for a few more roles to be filled plus we need help with painting scenery, making props and generally helping. Please contact Debbie Apostolides for more details. 07828 123 588
- Mardi Gras Party: Ruth and Paul Holleley are looking for talented – or at least willing! – performers for St Mary’s Community Mardi Gras variety concert in church on February 6th at 7pm. Please contact us on 07969 831 947.
- Everyone Campaign: Please return your pledge card as soon as possible, Even if you are unable to give to the church at this time or do not wish to alter the amount you are giving. This will save an embarrassing reminder!
- The Revd Dr Philip Krinks – If you would like to contribute to a leaving gift for Philip, please give your donation to the Churchwardens or in an envelope c/o the Parish Office.
- The Thursday Bible Exploration Group will resume again on 7th January in the Upper Vestry at 1.30pm. New members warmly welcomed (very nice coffee/tea and biscuits!)
