Mission Action Planning: Meet the SEITE Team
The South East Institute for Theological Education (SEITE) train men and women for ministry in the Church of England and the Methodist Church. As part of their initial year training, the students are invited to participate in a Mission Project, set in a local church or other institution, where they are given the chance to participate in some form of Christian mission alongside their academic learning on the subject. We are fortunate at St Mary’s to have three Anglican ordinands with us, whose project involves supporting our Mission Action Planning process.
Meet the SEITE team: Claire Allwood, Caroline Titley, Daphne Clifton
The team will be at the following Church services:
- 16th November 6.30pm
- 23rd November 11am
- 7th December 8.30am, with a light breakfast afterwards
- 7th December 11am
They will be available to listen to your questions and what is important to you in the life of St Mary’s.
There will be some ‘stations’ around the Church on the 23rd to help with the process of dreaming dreams for the community.
If you haven’t already ‘liked’ our Facebook page, please do visit and ‘like’ us as more information will be found there during the next month https://www.facebook.com/batterseaparish/info
There will be a paper questionnaire to help with the process and the SEITE team will be happy to take you through that.
Caroline, Claire and Daphne say, “We’re really looking forward to returning to St Mary’s and working with you on this exciting project. Seeking God’s agenda isn’t always easy in the busyness of life but we’ll be praying with and for you over the next few months.”
