Tell the World Your Story: What God has Done for You.

Appreciation: Tell the World Your Story: What God has Done for You.

God created us with different gifts. I call that ‘destiny’. We don’t have identical gifts, but God knows why we are made that way. We have to respect each others’ gifts and never say, ‘I wish I was [this or that] person.’ Don’t condemn what God has given you, for God knows best. Instead try to work hard to achieve your ‘self actualization’. You will normally reap what you sow. Remember that what we do, even in the darkest place, is seen by God.

On the 17th of May, 2016, we had a trip bus trip to Eastbourne, arranged by Wandsworth Council Trippers. I prayed, as usual, before going to bed the night before for a safe journey.

I got up on the morning of the trip and the weather was good. There was no rain – that was good. I tried to get something off my shelf in my bedroom. Everything beside it came crashing down. All I said was, “Satan, you’re a liar, God is in control. I must go on this trip and be with others.”

I got to the meeting place 10 minutes early to discover that the bus was going to be 30 minutes late. That had never happened before. We all wanted a change of scene and so readily accepted that the traffic in the Battersea area had caused the delay. We just wanted to see the seaside.

On the way there, almost everyone was sleeping. I was wide awake, remembering what had happened that morning. I took the items crashing down as a warning, so I was alert on the journey, as I am usually. Suddenly, a car wanted to overtake the bus and blew its horn. Our driver was also trying to overtake another bus in front that was avoiding another car. I shouted out very loudly, “Watch out!” Our driver slowed down and the car rushed by and overtook us.

Everybody woke up and I confessed to having been the one who had shouted. I told them that it was done by our Saviour. I did what I was supposed to do, although I had goose flesh after that. My Heavenly Father took control. God knew that I had handed over control of the journey into his hands and, as usual, he saved us.

On arrival at Eastbourne, one of the group came to me and said, “Thank you for saving us from a calamity. We were all asleep. It was the work of the Devil but you were awake. Your warning was from above. Thank you once more.” I smiled, hugged her and said, “It was God’s doing, not mine. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah!” During our return journey everybody was awake. We had a smooth journey back home.

What God doesn’t permit, doesn’t happen. We need faith. Believe in the Lord and ward off Satan.

We all have tribulations in life, but notwithstanding, we should pray hard. We should pray for the welfare of everyone, and give all room to prove their worth.

God bless you all.
