FaithWorks 18: Sacred Heart Mission: We are joining in with events planned for the 125thAnniversary of our Catholic neighbours, including their Parish Mission led by Fr. Roy Shelly from California from next Sunday until 14thOctober. Those involved in specific areas of ministry at St Mary’s are invited to particular events below, although of course everything is open to all.

Admission of Children to Holy Communion: Classes will begin in November. If you have a child who is 7 or older, who is keen to be admitted to Communion with your support, please contact Simon or Cal Alphonse ([email protected]) as soon as possible. Admission Service date is now: Sunday 16thDecember at 11am.

 

An evening of music in aid of the street and vulnerable children of Don Bosco Ashalayam: This will take place on Thursday 18th October 2018 at St John Bosco College Parkham Street from 7.30pm -9pm. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance through the school with an optional donation at the end of the evening. A Game Changer? Phil and Rachel Bowyer, a British couple living and working in South Africa, who are friends of Rev Aaron Kennedy, will be preaching for us on Sunday 14th October, and sharing something of their plans for a game changing new school near Durban.
