Card Reader Trial: If you would like to give by card, you can do so immediately after the service near the lift at the back of church

Farewell to Tyrone Whiting: Although we’re not yet clear when Tyrone will be leaving, we are beginning to think about saying goodbye now. If you would like to contribute to Ty’s farewell gift, please send your gift to the Parish Office marked ‘Gift for Tyrone’ as soon as possible.

 

Advent Workshop for Children: Next Saturday 2nd December from 10am to 12.30pm at Sacred Heart Church, Trott Street. All children welcome.

 

Next Sunday Advent Fair Sunday 3rd December – 2:30 – 5:30 pm

Come along! We will have great stalls, delicious cakes and exciting refreshments. Plus a travelling zoo! Lesley Ibsen has a stall selling home-made advent wreaths -fresh spruce traditional styles – you can pre-order one to collect at the fair. 07944 339 945.

 

Please support the Flower Fund by making something for their Advent Fair stall! Cakes, biscuits, fudge, mincemeat, savoury items etc. would all be extremely welcome. And if you are not a cook just come and buy anyway! Contact Sarah Bryant 020 8870 7167 or [email protected]

 

Advent Carol Service: this special service follows on from the end of the Fair at 6pm and will be led by St Mary’s Choir and our Evensong Ministers.

 

Christingle Service: Sunday 10th December at 4.00pm. A service with children especially in mind, as we bring gifts for the Children’s Society as well as sharing in the traditional Christingle celebration.

On Sunday 10th December our Evening Service will have an Advent feel and Jazz Wilson will be talking about his work with the Leprosy Mission. That will be at 6.00pm.

 

Katherine Low Settlement are looking for some help with their Contact Club Christmas Lunch for elders on Tuesday 19th December at Dimson Lodge. Various tasks need doing throughout the day, plus a few on Monday 18th December. To offer, please contact Lucie ([email protected]) or Sarah ([email protected]) asap. Thank you!
