Can you help provide a home for a Syrian family? Do you care about and want to help refugees?
In response to the Syrian refugee crisis, Churches in Battersea are urgently looking for 2 to 3 bedroom properties available at an affordable rate. So far two Syrian families have been successfully relocated and a third is in the process of doing so. Wandsworth is aiming to welcome 10 families – can you help?
Not a landlord but have a spare room? Short term accommodation, sometimes for even just a couple of nights is desperately needed.
Wandsworth is full of exciting initiatives from local mums’ groups to supper clubs, all working to raise money for and help support refugees. You could help refugee children with their homework, shop for food or cook lunch at a drop in centre, give English lessons, or enjoy a delicious Syrian feast, there are so many ways you can contribute and a host of organisations who would love to hear from you.
